S.P. Daylight Souvenir Quartz Watch w/ Train Sconds "Hand" Mystery Dial
About the Watch:
This is a fun souvenir watch from the Southern Pacific Coast Daylight Train, a train line that once ran from Los Angeles to San Francisco. It is a quartz watch running on an ETA 955.414 movement. The dial is circled by a train track and the locomotive that runs around the track serves as the seconds hand. It is running well, in great shape, and comes on the original genuine leather strap.
Sean's Thoughts:
If you're not familiar, this watch has what is called a mystery dial. 'How is it that the train runs circles around that track without any connection to the center pivot", you ask? Well it's a mystery! This watch is a ton of fun, and if you have any affinity for trains, west coast transportation history, or just fun watches, then this is the watch for you.
