The Longines Ellipse is a standout showman of vintage watches. The teal/turquoise patina that is showing through the black dial is something watch companies need to recreate. The texture is just stunning, like the surface of a black sandy moon, the dial is lunar like. The shape of the case, minimalist design, and smaller than a modern watch it is a perfect vintage watch. Perfect for a formal occasion and your intention is to stand out. The original bracelet is what drew me to curate this watch for the collection. Ahead of its time and so comfortable.
