This watch presents a unique design with its hinged lugs that keep it very flat to the wrist no matter the size of the wearer's wrists. The Hamilton Prescott is a made-in-the-USA gem of American engineering and manufacturing from the 1930s and almost 100 years later, it runs as well as it did when it rolled off the production line in Lancaster, PA. The slim design and small form make it feel light as air and easily clips under a shirt cuff. The dashed indices around the dial were extremely avant garde for the time as not many watches strayed away from Roman or Arabic numerals. It winds, sets, and runs phenomenally and will be a crown jewel for any vintage collector.

You'll see a lot of listings talk about "rare" watches even if they're not. We don't list things as rare unless they truly are and this watch here truly is a rarity. The older things are the rarer they are...generally, and the fewer of something that is made certainly makes it rare, but when you have a watch like this that is 91 years old and was only produced for one year, then you really do have something that is rare. Have you seen it too? It is in nearly pristine condition.
